let the wife talk me into getting a massage for back and shoulder pain issues and went here because they accepted walk in… DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BECAUSE EVEN WITH POOR SERVICE THEY TRY TO FORCE YOU TO TIP. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
Unfortunately worst “massage” I’ve ever experienced and was so hopeful so I did the upgrades. Walked out with a $90 pour of CBD oil and not a single space on the body massages or worked. Hate to leave a bad review but would more hate for someone to spend their well earned money and time to treat themselves and experience that
Pros: The massage therapist applied a decent amount of pressure that wasn't too deep or too light. She used hot stones as well at no extra charge. She didn't shortchange the massage time by incorporating the time it takes to get undressed/redressed and clean the room into the half hour I booked. She actually did a very decent job for it just being a regular relaxation massage. Most massage therapists apply very light pressure if it's a basic relaxation massage. She applied medium pressure. Cons: Her phone was going off during the session, though it wasn't very loud. Even though she had me fill out an intake form, she didn't inquire as to the specific areas I needed work on (neck and shoulders) and would not have known had I not told her. Even though she did focus on certain areas when I asked her to, she did not hone in on these areas exclusively like other places I've visited have. She also asked me very confrontationally to tip her. I don't mind tipping and frequently do, but service professionals should ask politely and not guilt trip people into tipping. Takeaway: Though this would not be my first choice to go, this is a decent place to go that is reasonably priced and not busy if you're in desperate need for a massage, especially on a Sunday. Just be prepared to be confronted for a tip.
They were polite and provided a relaxing experience. That’s it. I paid a $112 massage, on top of them asking for a tip, for them to give me the ENTIRE massage through a thick beach towel and the actual massage being a rub down, body shaking, and a few taps. On top of, no one consulting me about my anatomy, pain/stress areas, or what I wanted the massage to target. I will not be back.
Absolutely amazing! My husband and I booked a couples massage here on a Sunday, and we were blown away. The staff was incredibly skilled, giving us one of the best massages we’ve ever had. They paid attention to every detail and left us feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Bonus points for being open on a Sunday! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a truly exceptional massage experience. Thank you Ava, and staff!
